The WRA boys varsity tennis team celebrated Senior Night in style on May 6, sweeping St. Vincent-St. Mary 5–0 at home.
The evening was especially meaningful as all seven seniors on the roster had the opportunity to compete together on their home courts one final time.
At #1 singles, Griffin Vaughn '26 delivered a commanding performance in a 6–0, 6–2 victory. Sanam Mody '26 followed with one of his strongest matches of the season at #2 singles, earning a convincing 6–1, 6–2 win. At #3 singles, Alex Le Rouge '26 continued his undefeated season in dominant fashion, not dropping a game in a 6–0, 6–0 victory.
The doubles teams were equally impressive. At #1 doubles, Roberts Sartor '26 and Gordon Dix '26 relied on their chemistry and experience to secure a 6–1, 6–0 win. At #2 doubles, Victor Wang '26 and Shane Deng '26 reunited as partners for the first time since their freshman year and delivered an outstanding 6–0, 6–1 victory.
Following the match, the seniors shared heartfelt speeches that reflected on their time at Reserve, creating a memorable evening for teammates, family members, and friends.
The Pioneers will look to continue their strong play when they host Aurora on Thursday, May 7.
