The WRA girls varsity lacrosse team delivered a dominant offensive performance on April 7, defeating Medina 20–11 at home.
WRA built a steady lead early, going up 4–2 after the first quarter and extending it to 8–6 by halftime. The Pioneers took full control in the third, erupting for eight goals to create a 16–7 advantage before closing out the game at 20–11.
Sass Huff '26 led the way with an outstanding all-around performance, recording six goals, one assist, 15 draw controls, and three caused turnovers. Ellie Flores '27 matched Huff's scoring output with six goals while adding two assists and seven draw controls.
Shiloh Nelson '29 contributed four goals and an assist, while Colleen McAlonie '27 added four goals and an assist along with strong play across the field. Avery Harris '27 played a key role in facilitating the offense with four assists and three ground balls, and Leah Petras '27 chipped in with two assists and a caused turnover.
With the win, WRA continues its strong run of form and will look ahead to its next matchup on April 11, on the road against Germantown Friends School.
