The WRA girls varsity lacrosse team continued its strong offensive stretch with a 22–13 victory over Magnificat on April 16 at home.
WRA came out firing, building an 8–5 lead after the first quarter and extending it to 17–7 by halftime. The Pioneers maintained control throughout the second half, leading 19–11 after three quarters before closing out the game at 22–13.
Shiloh Nelson '29 led all scorers with an impressive seven goals and two assists, while Ellie Flores '27 added five goals and three assists along with seven draw controls. Colleen McAlonie '27 contributed four goals and an assist, and Sass Huff '26 delivered another standout all-around performance with four goals, three assists, and 14 draw controls.
Amaya Gomez '28 chipped in with a goal and an assist, while Leah Petras '27 added two assists, a ground ball, and a caused turnover.
With the win, WRA continues to build momentum and will look ahead to its next matchup on April 18, on the road against Shady Side Academy.
