The WRA girls varsity lacrosse team delivered a commanding performance on April 14, defeating Walsh Jesuit 19–6 at home.
WRA set the tone early, jumping out to a 5–1 lead after the first quarter and extending it to 11–3 by halftime. The Pioneers continued to control the game in the second half, holding Walsh Jesuit scoreless in the third quarter while building a 16–3 advantage before closing out the 19–6 victory.
Sass Huff '26 led the way with an outstanding all-around performance, tallying five goals, five assists, and 10 draw controls. Ellie Flores '27 matched the scoring effort with five goals and two assists, while also contributing eight draw controls, three ground balls, and two caused turnovers.
Shiloh Nelson '29 added two goals and three assists, along with a ground ball and caused turnover. Leah Petras '27 contributed two goals and an assist, and Colleen McAlonie '27 added two goals and an assist. Amaya Gomez '28 chipped in with a goal and two assists, while Avery Harris '27 added a goal and an assist.
With the win, WRA continues its strong run and will look ahead to its next matchup on April 16 at home against Magnificat.
