The WRA girls varsity lacrosse team delivered an impressive offensive performance on March 31, defeating Wooster 19–9 on the road.
WRA set the tone early, building a 6–2 lead after the first quarter and extending it to 10–3 by halftime. The Pioneers continued to control the game in the second half, pushing the lead to 16–5 after three quarters before closing out the 19–9 victory.
Shiloh Nelson '29 led the scoring effort with six goals, while also contributing three ground balls and two caused turnovers. Ellie Flores '27 added four goals and controlled four draws, and Colleen McAlonie '27 recorded three goals, two assists, and three draw controls.
Sass Huff '26 made a significant impact all over the field, finishing with three goals, two assists, and an impressive 11 draw controls. Addison Kalogerou '29 contributed two goals and an assist, while Leah Petras '27 added a goal, an assist, and two ground balls.
With the win, WRA will look to carry its momentum into its next matchup on April 2, on the road against Hathaway Brown.
