On April 19, Girls Lacrosse hosted Chagrin Falls and showcased a dominant performance, winning 15 – 4. The Pioneers wasted no time, jumping out to an early 5–1 lead in the first quarter and continuing their strong play throughout the game. By halftime, the score was 12–2, and WRA sealed the victory with a 15 – 4 final score.
Sass Huff led the charge with 6 goals, 2 assists and 3 caused turnovers. Mia Cruz followed closely with 4 goals, while Ellie Flores added 3 goals and 1 assist. Kelly Harrington contributed 1 goal, 1 assist, and 2 caused turnovers. Katherine Becker also contributed with 1 goal and 2 caused turnovers, and Caitlin Cronkey chipped in 1 assist and 2 caused turnovers. Leah Petras rounded out the scoring with 1 assist.
In goal, Abbi Bernhardt recorded 7 saves, finishing with a 62% save average for the day. The Pioneers dominated the draw controls, winning 65% of them.
With the victory, WRA continues their undefeated streak this season.
