Girls Lacrosse Cruises Past Walsh Jesuit in Dominant Home Victory

On April 10, the Pioneers delivered yet another commanding performance, defeating Walsh Jesuit 16 – 5 on their home turf. From the opening whistle, WRA controlled the pace of the game, shutting out Walsh in the first quarter and taking a 5 – 0 lead. By halftime, that advantage had grown to 9 – 2, and the Pioneers never let up.

The offensive firepower was on full display. Sass Huff led the way with a stellar 5-goal, 3-assist showing, while Ellie Flores continued her strong season with 4 goals and 2 assists. Kelly Harrington  orchestrated the offense beautifully with 4 assists and 2 goals of her own, and Leah Petras added 3 goals and 2 assists in a well-rounded attack.

Avery Harris and Mia Cruz each found the net as well, helping to keep the scoreboard moving. On the defensive end, Caitlin Cronkey made her mark with 5 ground balls, contributing to a lockdown effort that limited Walsh Jesuit to just five goals.

This decisive win marks another strong step forward in a season marked by energy, depth and total-team effort.
