Girls Lacrosse delivered a commanding performance on the road April 1, defeating Revere 15 – 5 in a game that showcased the team's depth, hustle and control.
The Pioneers came out strong, shutting out Revere 3 – 0 in the first quarter and building a dominant 8 – 1 lead by halftime. WRA continued to apply pressure on both ends of the field, finishing the third quarter up 9 – 3 and closing the game with a decisive 15 – 5 win.
Ellie Flores led the scoring charge with four goals, while Sass Huff filled the stat sheet with 3 goals and 2 assists, and dominated the draw with 9 wins. Leah Petras added 2 goals and an assist, while Katherine Becker tallied 1 goal and 2 assists. Avery Harris, Kelly Harrington and Lydia Stropki each contributed a key assist.
The team controlled 65% of draw controls — powered by Huff, Flores (4 wins) and Harrington (1 win) — and maintained their defensive edge thanks to a strong showing from goalie Abbi Bernhardt, who notched 7 saves at a 58% save rate.
