Boys Tennis Back in the Win Column with a Strong Showing Against CVCA

The Pioneers are charging forward once again, notching a 4-1 victory over the CVCA Royals and reigniting their winning streak! It was a powerhouse performance from our singles squad — Roberts Sartor '26, Collin Si '27 and Arsh Goyal '25 — who dominated their matches and dropped just nine games combined.

The real thrill came in the doubles arena. Sanam Mody '26 and Govi Chadalavada '27 dug deep and battled through the pressure, clinching a nail-biting third-set tiebreaker to lock in a crucial point for the team. Meanwhile, Keven Gong '25 and Griffin Vaughn '26 went toe-to-toe in their match, but despite a valiant effort, fell just short in another tight third-set tiebreaker.

Overall, it was an impressive win for WRA Tennis, and the squad is riding high with momentum heading into their next challenge.

This Saturday (April 26), the Pios hit the road for a doubles showdown at Hawken High School, where four teams will represent WRA in a tough tournament. With strong competition on deck, it promises to be an incredible opportunity for our players to shine.

Go Pios!
