On Feb. 2, the girls got back on the road for a quick trip up to Cleveland to take on Saint Joseph Academy. With back to back games against the top two Division one programs in OHSAA looming in everyone's head, the girls made sure that they would not let the contest be a trap game.
WRA built up a 14-4 lead to open the quarter, followed by a handful of spurts and great ball movement to build a 38-20 lead at halftime. The girls stayed focused on putting the Jaguars away in the third quarter, winning the quarter 16-7, on route to a 68-47 victory. The Pioneers finished the game with 47 total rebounds, 10 steals, and 24 assists with contributions from everyone who saw action. The girls will take on OHSAA's Division I #2 ranked Magnificat HS on the road on Saturday afternoon.
