The WRA Girls Varsity Field Hockey team battled Dublin Scioto to a hard-fought 2-2 draw in its home game on Saturday, August 29.

After Dublin Scioto took a 1-0 lead in the second quarter, the Pioneers responded in the third quarter to even the score. WRA continued to battle in the fourth quarter, with both teams finding the back of the cage to finish the game tied at 2-2.

Mila Barber '29 led the Pioneers' offensive effort, scoring both of WRA's goals. Mackenzie Kuhn '28 assisted on the first goal, while Caitlin Cronkey '28 provided the assist on the second.

The Pioneers showed determination throughout the contest, fighting back from an early deficit and continuing to compete until the final whistle.

WRA Girls Varsity Field Hockey will return to action Wednesday, September 9, when the Pioneers host Shaker.
