The WRA Field Hockey team continued its strong stretch of play with a thrilling 2–1 win over Kent on Thursday, October 2. The Pioneers combined sharp execution on offense with disciplined defense to earn the well-deserved victory.
Lydia Stropki '26 set the tone early, scoring in the first quarter to give WRA an early lead. After a tense back-and-forth battle, Kenzie Kuhn '28 delivered the game-winner in the fourth quarter, capping off a strong offensive effort that saw the Pioneers generate nine penalty corners throughout the match.
In goal, Sarah Johnson '29 continued her standout season with eight saves, anchoring the defense and keeping Kent's attack in check.
