The WRA Field Hockey team faced a challenging road test against Magnificat on Tuesday, September 1, battling through a competitive matchup and intense heat.

Sophomore Sarah Johnson '29 turned in an outstanding performance in goal, making several incredible saves against a strong Magnificat attack and helping keep WRA competing throughout the game.

Senior Avery Harris '27 and Tory Hadrys '27 also showed tremendous determination, working hard from start to finish despite the difficult conditions and heat. Their effort and perseverance were key examples of the team's competitive spirit.

The Pioneers will use the experience from this challenging matchup as they prepare for their next opportunity to take the field. WRA returns to action Saturday, September 5, at 4:30 p.m.
