The WRA Field Hockey team hosted Maumee Valley on Saturday, September 6, in a competitive matchup that tested their defense and resilience. Despite strong effort across the field, the Pioneers fell 0–5.

While the score didn't reflect the team's determination, goalkeeper Sarah Johnson '29 was outstanding in net, recording 18 saves against a relentless offensive attack. Her poise and leadership anchored the defense throughout the game.

The Pioneers continued to fight for every possession and showed improvement in their communication and positioning against a well-organized opponent.

WRA will look to regroup and build on the positives.
