The WRA Field Hockey team took on Ottawa Hills at home on Saturday, September 6, showing determination and grit throughout a challenging contest that ended in a 1–5 loss.
The Pioneers continued to compete until the final whistle, breaking through in the fourth quarter when sophomore Caitlin Cronkey '28 found the back of the cage to put WRA on the board. Her effort and persistence stood out as a bright spot for the team.
Despite the scoreline, the Pioneers displayed strong teamwork and energy, creating several offensive opportunities and maintaining pressure deep into the match.
WRA will look to build on this performance when they return to action on Tuesday, September 9, hosting Laurel at 5:00 p.m.
