The WRA JV Girls Tennis team turned in an outstanding performance on Saturday, hosting a USTA-sponsored tournament with Orange, Mentor, and Mayfield. Using total games won to determine standings, both Pioneer squads—Green and White—rose to the top, finishing 1st and 2nd overall.

In divisional play, WRA recorded strong results across the board: 3rd and 4th in Division A, 3rd in Division B, and 2nd in Division C. The Division C doubles team of Wendy Zhang '29 and Daisy Wei '28, recently moved up from C-Squad to JV, earned a special highlight with their runner-up finish. Their success marked a new milestone and showcased the growth and determination that comes from seizing new opportunities on the court.

With both Pioneer teams combining for the highest overall game totals of the day, the tournament was a proud display of depth, teamwork, and resilience.

The JV Pioneers return to action on Monday, September 29, at home against Revere.
