The WRA JV Girls Tennis team hosted Aurora on September 17, falling 0–5 despite several competitive efforts across the lineup.
At second singles, Addie Mendelson '26 delivered the most thrilling match of the day, pushing her opponent to three sets in a tight battle that ended in a tiebreak (6–4, 3–6, TB 5–10). Mendelson showcased grit and determination, highlighted by several long rallies that kept the crowd engaged.
Other matches saw the Pioneers working to extend points and gain valuable experience, with Aurora ultimately prevailing. The team is now turning its attention to its next contest on Monday, September 22, when they travel to face Hathaway Brown.
