The WRA Field Hockey team hosted Hawken on Thursday, September 18, in a hard-fought game that showcased their defensive resilience, despite a 0–3 loss.
Freshman goalkeeper Sarah Johnson '29 was outstanding in net, recording 20 saves and keeping the Pioneers within striking distance throughout the match. Her quick reflexes and composure under pressure anchored the team's defensive effort.
Though WRA couldn't find the back of the cage, the team continued to show improvement in their structure, communication, and transition play.
The Pioneers will look to keep building on their progress when they return to action on Monday, September 22, hosting Stow at 5:00 p.m.
