The WRA Field Hockey team took the field at home on Thursday, September 11, against a strong Walsh Jesuit squad, competing with grit and determination despite a 1–7 loss.
Avery Harris '27 provided the highlight for the Pioneers, scoring in the third quarter to put WRA on the board. In goal, freshman Sarah Johnson '29 had an outstanding performance, recording 20 saves against a relentless offensive attack.
The Pioneers continued to battle throughout the match, showing improvement in their transitions and communication. Their effort and resilience were clear as they played hard from start to finish.
WRA will return to action on Monday, September 15, when they travel to Hudson High School at 5:30 p.m.
