The girls put together an impressive first half of basketball, leading 32-17 at halftime. WRA came out with the same energy, but quickly saw the lead deteriorate with inspired Eagles team stringing together stops and knocking down shot after shot.
WRA maintained the lead through the third quarter, but Example's point guard, Kennedy Ellison, did a good job getting to the foul line in the 4th quarter (11 Free Throw Attempts in the 4th). The Pioneers had a chance to tie the game at the end, but the three point look just missed, and the Pioneers drop a tough one at home 58-56. WRA will look to avenge the November loss by 1 to Example Academy National (IL) tomorrow in the MAC Gym.
