Western Reserve Academy opened its home schedule in commanding fashion on December 8, defeating Padua in both girls' and boys' competition. The girls earned a 78–61 win, while the boys delivered a decisive 110–42 victory, highlighted by depth across the lineup and a sweep of every relay on the boys' side.
The Pioneers controlled the meet from start to finish.
On the girls' roster, Roxi Rubiano '28 had a standout day, winning the 50-yard freestyle (27.39) and taking first place in 1-meter diving (138.90). Lauren Keller '27 powered through the 500-yard freestyle, finishing first in 7:56.78, while Cindy Huang '27 claimed the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:23.97.
The boys dominated the relay events, taking first in all three:

Individually, WRA picked up multiple top finishes. Alex Li '27 won the 50-yard freestyle (25.23), Kalen Mulligan '27 captured the 100 butterfly, Tyler Omega '28 took the 200 individual medley (2:37.29), Ronan Flower '28 won the 500 freestyle (6:19.78), and Ryan Bonomo '29 claimed the 100 backstroke (1:07.69).
It was a strong early-season showing for the Pioneers, marked by confident racing, depth in scoring positions, and excellent relay execution.
