Pioneers Fall Just Short in Comeback Effort Against Kiski

In an intense and hard-fought matchup, WRA Boys' Soccer narrowly fell to The Kiski School, 3–2, despite controlling much of the game. The Pioneers dominated possession and offensive pressure throughout, recording 14 shots to Kiski's 10 and earning eight corner kicks compared to just one for the Cougars.

Kiski opened the scoring in the first half, taking a 1–0 lead into the break. After halftime, Reserve came out with renewed energy, pressing forward and finding the back of the net twice. Leo Chu '27 and Leonardo Ponce '27 each tallied goals for WRA as the Pioneers fought to overturn the deficit.

While WRA dictated play for much of the match, Kiski absorbed pressure effectively, defending deep with nine players behind the ball and capitalizing on counterattack opportunities to edge out the victory.

The Pioneers will look to rebound on Saturday, November 15, 2025, when they host Andrews Osborne Academy for their next home contest.
