The WRA Varsity Boys' Soccer team earned an impressive 2–0 win over High Mowing School (NH) on Saturday, October 11, showcasing sharp execution on both sides of the ball and another stellar defensive performance.
The Pioneers wasted no time taking control of the match, scoring twice in the first half. Nate Howard '28 opened the scoring with a perfectly struck free kick, while Gizmo Sutiklangwiharn '27 doubled the lead shortly after, finishing off a smooth buildup assisted by Max Born '26.
Defensively, WRA remained disciplined and composed throughout the match. Goalkeeper Brennan Restorick '26 was outstanding once again, making six crucial saves to secure his sixth clean sheet of the season—a performance that earned him Man of the Match honors.
It was a complete team effort that reflected the Pioneers' growing confidence and cohesion as the season progresses. WRA will look to keep their momentum rolling when they return to action on Sunday, October 12, hosting Woodstock Academy (CT).
