Pioneers Fall Just Short in 2–1 Battle Against CVCA

The WRA Varsity Boys' Soccer team fought hard in a tightly contested match on Wednesday, October 8, ultimately falling 2–1 on the road against CVCA.

After a scoreless first half marked by strong defensive play and disciplined possession, the second half opened up with both teams trading chances. Leo Chu '27 put the Pioneers on the board with a composed finish, assisted by Max Born '26, but despite WRA's late push, CVCA managed to edge ahead in the closing minutes.

The Pioneers showed grit and composure throughout the match, maintaining intensity on both sides of the ball and continuing to build strong chemistry as a unit.

WRA will look to bounce back quickly when they return home to face High Mowing High School on Saturday, October 11.
