The WRA Field Hockey team showed resilience and determination in a challenging matchup on the road against a strong Shaker squad on October 7. Despite the 0–11 final score, the Pioneers demonstrated heart and teamwork from start to finish, continuing to play hard and support one another throughout the game.

Coach Maria Russell praised the team's effort and attitude, noting that even in the face of adversity, the players maintained their composure and fought for every possession. The group's commitment to improvement and positive spirit stood out as defining qualities of their performance.

The Pioneers now look ahead to Senior Night on Thursday, October 9, when they'll host Magnificat High School—an opportunity to celebrate their seniors and close out the home schedule with pride and energy.
