The WRA Varsity Boys Soccer team turned in an outstanding all-around performance on Friday, October 3, earning a decisive 5–0 victory on the road against University School.
The Pioneers set the tone early, taking a 2–0 lead at halftime before adding three more goals in the second half to complete the shutout. Leo Chu '27 led the charge with a spectacular hat trick, including one goal from the penalty spot. Max Born '26 and Guillermo Delgado '26 each added a goal of their own to round out the scoring.
On the creative side, Born and Gizmo Sutiklangwiharn '27 provided key assists, helping WRA maintain offensive pressure throughout the match.
Defensively, the Pioneers were rock solid, anchored by goalkeepers Brennan Restorick '26 and Nishan Dakwar '26, who combined for five saves to secure the clean sheet.
It was a dominant team effort that showcased WRA's balance, depth, and chemistry. The Pioneers will look to keep their strong form going when they travel to face CVCA on Wednesday, October 8.
