The girls basketball hosted the Laurel School Gators on Senior Night for the Pioneers. In a back and forth game with several lead changes throughout the first half, the eight seniors continued their stellar season and battled defensively in a game that felt as though there was a lid on the rim. At halftime, Reserve led the Gators 30-25.
The Pioneers opened the second half on a 9-2 run sparked by a trio of big plays by ESPN Top 60
Brooklyn Hall '26 and a great finish in traffic by Middlebury commit
Islay Moore '25. The Gators were able to claw back and get within five, but
Glory Kabia '25,
Sheridan Oberhand '25,
Alia Cordone '25,
Brooklyn Hall '26, and
Maya Nahar '25 upped their defensively pressure and put together a run to give the Pioneers a double digit lead heading into the 4th and they never looked back, pushing the lead to as much as 18, and finishing with a 70-53 victory.
Congratulations to our senior players and managers!
Final Score: 70 - 53
