Boys Soccer Defeats South Kent

On September 21, the WRA Boys Varsity Soccer team delivered a solid performance against South Kent HS, securing a 2-0 victory in an away match. The Pioneers struck first in the 1st half with a goal from Maximo Born '26, who found the back of the net unassisted. They maintained their lead into the 2nd half, where Sully Buch '25 converted a penalty kick, ensuring a comfortable cushion as the game progressed.

The match was characterized by its physicality, but WRA's defense held strong, thanks in large part to goalie Caydence Robinson '25, who earned "man of the match" honors for his outstanding performance. Robinson played the full game and made six crucial saves, keeping South Kent at bay and preserving the shutout. The Pioneers are set to build on this success as they head to play Lawrenceville at the NXT LVL Showcase on Sunday, September 22.
