Field Hockey Loses Close Contest to Walsh

In a challenging matchup on September 19, 2024, the WRA field hockey team faced off against Walsh at home, ultimately falling with a final score of 0-2. The game remained scoreless through the first quarter, but Walsh broke the deadlock in the second period with a goal, taking a 1-0 lead. Despite a valiant effort from the WRA squad, Walsh added another goal in the third period, sealing their victory.

Despite the loss, several players stood out for their contributions. Lydia Stropki '26 showcased her dynamic play, effectively changing the pace of the game and keeping Walsh on their toes.
