The Pioneers took control early, with goals in the first half from Sagar Patel '25, assisted by Max Born '26, followed by Brendan Tan '25, assisted by Caz Badynee'25 contributing to a 2-0 lead.
In the second half, Reserve continued to assert their dominance with additional goals from Antonio Sundfeld '25, assisted by Davis Novak '25 and Born, Charles Ellmore '25, assisted by Sundfeld and Oliver Wray '25, unassisted. Medina managed a few attempts on goal, but WRA's keepers were steadfast, keeping their clean sheet intact. The Pioneers' next challenge will be at the Mainline Jamboree on September 14, where they will face Christchurch School, aiming to build on their impressive performance.
