Girls Soccer Improves to 8-1 on the Season

WRA Girls' Soccer got another win on the road vs league opponent Hiland on Saturday night, under the lights. Hiland went up 1-0 early in the first half.  After many opportunities on goal, hitting the goal posts several times, Ky Hau-Golden '25 finally put in the first goal of the night off a cross from Maddie McNamara '27. WRA and Hiland went into the 2nd half tied 1-1. Haley Serna '24 beat her defender off a ball from Maddie McNamara and slid the ball in the left corner of the goal, right past the keeper, for the 2nd goal, putting WRA up 2-1. Although WRA put 12 shots on frame in the 2nd half, they were not able to find the back of the net for a 3rd time. WRA went home with a 2-1 win, bringing them to a 8-1 record so far on the season.
