The WRA Girls Varsity Soccer team traveled to Hathaway Brown on Wednesday, October 8, for a competitive matchup against the Blazers, ultimately falling 0–3.
The Pioneers played with determination throughout, holding HB to just one goal in the first half and keeping defensive pressure high. Goalkeeper Sydney Swiderski '28 stood tall in net, recording five key saves to keep WRA within reach.
Despite several promising offensive opportunities, the Pioneers couldn't quite find the back of the net, but their effort and composure against a strong opponent were clear from start to finish.
WRA will look to bounce back on Thursday, October 9, when they return home to face Spire Academy at 6:30 p.m.
