Western Reserve Academy's Girls Varsity Basketball team bounced back with a commanding 61-50 win over Example Academy Varsity (IL) on November 17, 2024. Playing on the road, WRA overcame a close contest through three quarters by delivering a decisive fourth-quarter performance.
Brooklyn Hall '26 led the way with an outstanding game, recording 21 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. Sheridan Oberhand '25 added 13 points and 2 steals, while Lilah Turnbull '25 made a significant impact on both ends of the court with 10 points, 5 steals, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists. Maya Nahar '25 contributed 4 points, 7 rebounds, and a team-high 5 assists, and Paris Matheos '25 added 4 assists and 2 rebounds to round out the team effort.
The victory improves WRA's record as they gear up for a challenging match up against Springboro High School, the 2024 Division I State Runner-Up, on November 23.
