WRA Holds Off Centerville for Home Victory

The WRA boys varsity lacrosse team earned an 11–8 victory over Centerville High School on May 8 at home.

WRA built an early advantage, taking a 4–2 lead after the first quarter and extending it to 6–2 by halftime. Centerville responded with a strong third quarter, cutting into the deficit, but the Pioneers answered in the fourth to secure the win.

Logan McDougal '27 led the offense with four goals, helping power WRA throughout the afternoon. At the faceoff X, Blaise Wakefield '29 delivered a dominant performance, winning 17 of 20 draws to consistently give WRA possession and control of the tempo.

With the win, WRA will look to carry its momentum into its next matchup on Saturday, May 9, at home against Hampton High School (PA).
