The WRA boys varsity lacrosse team earned a solid 14–7 victory over St. Francis DeSales on April 26 at home.
The game was even early, with both teams tied 3–3 after the first quarter. WRA created separation in the second, putting together a strong offensive run to take a 9–4 lead into halftime. The Pioneers maintained control in the second half, extending the lead to 10–5 after three quarters before closing out the game at 14–7.
Tano Auriuso '26 led the offense with an outstanding performance, tallying five goals and three assists. David McFarland '26 added three goals and two assists, contributing to a balanced and effective attack. At the faceoff X, Blaise Wakefield '29 controlled possession, winning 74% of his draws and adding a goal.
With the win, WRA continues to build momentum and will look ahead to its next matchup on Friday, May 8, at home against Centerville High School.
