WRA Falls in Tight Battle with Hampton

The WRA boys varsity lacrosse team came up just short on May 9, falling 11–10 to Hampton High School (PA) at home in a back-and-forth contest.

WRA started strong, building a 3–0 lead after the first quarter. Hampton responded in the second, but the Pioneers still carried a 6–5 advantage into halftime. The game opened up in the third quarter, with Hampton narrowly taking a 10–9 lead heading into the final frame. Despite a strong effort down the stretch, WRA was unable to find the equalizer in the one-goal loss.

Callum Olson '26 led the offensive effort with three goals and one assist, helping keep WRA in the game throughout the afternoon.

WRA closes out its season after a competitive and hard-fought campaign.
