The Western Reserve Academy Varsity Boys Basketball team delivered a commanding performance on Wednesday night, defeating Erie Prep 91–53 at home.
The Pioneers set the tone early, using defensive pressure and efficient offensive execution to build a 45–27 lead by halftime. Reserve's balanced scoring attack and unselfish play allowed them to control the tempo and extend their advantage throughout the second half.
Anthony Thompson '26 led the way with 20 points and 7 rebounds, showcasing his versatility and leadership on both ends of the floor. Luka Ioannisci '27 provided a major offensive spark, finishing with 16 points, while Donovan Carney '26 added 11 points and Henry Fox '27 contributed 10 points in another strong all-around team effort.
Western Reserve's depth and defensive intensity proved to be the difference, as the Pioneers continued to apply pressure and pull away for the decisive victory.
The Pioneers will look to carry their momentum into their next matchup when they host Kiski on February 6.
