The Western Reserve Academy Boys Varsity Basketball team wrapped up a challenging road stretch on Saturday night, falling 92–82 to Hargrave Military Academy.
Hargrave built momentum in the first half, taking a 42–31 lead into the break despite WRA's continued effort to keep pace. The Pioneers responded with a strong second-half push, competing on both ends of the floor and working to close the gap, but were unable to fully overcome the early deficit.
Cam Hailey '26 led all scorers with an outstanding 30-point performance, providing a steady offensive spark throughout the night. Anthony Thompson '26 added 18 points and five rebounds, while Luka Ioannisci '27 contributed a strong interior presence with 10 points and eight rebounds.
The Pioneers now turn their attention quickly to the next stop on the road, traveling to Perkiomen on Sunday, January 11, as they look to rebound and build on the positives from a demanding stretch of games.
