The WRA Girls Varsity Tennis team opened its Senior Day doubleheader with a decisive 5–0 victory over the Strongsville Mustangs on Saturday, September 13, at the WRA Tennis Center. The win extended the Pioneers' undefeated season to 9–0.

Freshman Sia Mahesh '27 set the tone early at No. 3 singles with a dominant 6–0, 6–0 win over Aliyah Yusko. Soon after, Rithi Hegde '29 added the second point for the Pioneers at No. 2 singles, defeating Charlotte Grauel 6–0, 6–1. The clinching third point came at No. 1 doubles, where the unbeaten pairing of Lela Yajnik '27 and Sasha Hillard '29 stayed perfect with a convincing 6–0, 6–2 win over Mia Gyure and Rihanna Diaz.

The momentum carried into No. 2 doubles, where seniors Nadia Kischke '26 and Riya Patel '26—competing in their final Senior Day—powered past Leah Leszynski and Christina Ong 6–1, 6–1 to secure the fourth point. The final match of the day featured senior co-captain Denisse Jimenez Robles '26, who battled Strongsville's top player Mallory Koch at No. 1 singles. Jimenez Robles pulled away late, sealing a 6–4, 6–2 victory in front of an enthusiastic home crowd.

The Pioneers' depth and composure were on full display, with strong contributions across the lineup and spirited support from the 103 fans in attendance.
