The doubles matches showcased the Pioneers' resilience. At #1 doubles, junior co-captain Lela Yajnik '27 and freshman Sasha Hillard '29 battled from behind in the second set to seal a 6–3, 6–4 win. The final point came at #2 doubles, where senior co-captain Riya Patel '26 and freshman Carina Tang '28 staged an incredible comeback—overcoming 0–4 and 2–5 deficits in the second set before prevailing 6–3, 7–6 to complete the sweep.
With another statement win, the undefeated Pioneers now look ahead to a busy road week: a trip to Bay High School on Wednesday, October 1, followed by a marquee matchup at Pennsylvania powerhouse Shady Side Academy on Friday, October 3.
