Western Reserve Academy Track & Field turned in an impressive performance on April 9 in a competitive tri-meet against Walsh Jesuit and Gilmour Academy, hosted by Walsh. The Pioneers delivered standout efforts across the board, with numerous personal bests, top finishes, and a strong display of team depth.
Coach Erik Chaput praised the team's effort, saying, "We had a number of solid performances at Walsh this afternoon. Very proud of what we were able to achieve as a team today."
Highlighting the meet:

Addie LeVan brought home two gold medals, winning both the 1600m and 800m with poise and grit.

Makayla Riles claimed a commanding victory in the 100m hurdles and also placed 3rd in the long jump.

Timothy Ledrich captured 1st in the long jump and delivered a blazing 24.10 in the 200m, good for 2nd place and the second-fastest 200m time in Coach Chaput's tenure at WRA.

Lisa Flower recorded a strong personal record in the 400m.

James Johnston and Brendan Bennett dominated the 1600m with a 1–2 finish, and James returned just 30 minutes later to take 3rd in the 800m.

Rian Arora ran a monster PR in the 1600m, earning a big shoutout from Coach Chaput: "Way to go Rian!!!"

Mia Maze-Ingram and Janne Luley raced to 2nd and 3rd in the 200m, while Janne also took 4th in the long jump.

Nico Iteka crushed his previous best in the 800m, taking a huge step forward from last year's PR of 2:14.
