The WRA Boys Varsity Basketball team opened the weekend with an impressive 85–59 home victory over London Basketball Academy, showcasing depth, efficiency, and strong team play on both ends of the court.
The Pioneers came out firing, building a commanding 48–18 halftime lead behind a fast-paced offense and disciplined defense. Four players finished in double figures, highlighting WRA's balanced scoring effort. Anthony Thompson ('26) led the way with 13 points and 8 rebounds, while Cam Hailey ('26) added 13 points of his own. Dominick Sprague ('26) contributed 10 points, shooting a perfect 100% from the field, and Asher Suardini ('27) chipped in 12 points to round out the attack.
The Pioneers' unselfish ball movement and defensive energy set the tone early and carried them to a convincing win.
WRA is back in action on Saturday, November 8, when they host Canada Top Flight Academy at home.
