Girls Volleyball Shines Against Brooklyn HS

On September 25, the WRA Varsity Girls Volleyball team delivered an impressive performance at home, sweeping Brooklyn High School with a final score of 3-0. The Pioneers dominated in the first set, overwhelming BHS 25-9. Although the second set proved more challenging, WRA managed to secure a hard-fought 25-23 victory. They finished strong in the third set, closing out the match with a solid 25-16 win.

Key contributions came from several players, with Delaney Pittinger '26 leading the team in kills and Addie Lewis '25 making several crucial blocks and attacks. Mia Maze-Ingram '25 showcased her serving skills with multiple aces, while Riley Brainerd '28 was recognized for her positive energy, earning the spirit ball. The team looks forward to their next match, which will also be senior day, against Ravenna High School at home on Saturday, September 28.
