The WRA Varsity Girls Volleyball team earned a convincing 3-0 victory over Lake Ridge Academy on Wednesday, September 2, winning all three sets, 25-18, 25-18, and 25-17.

Molly Bonomo '30 led the Pioneers offensively and was named the Spirit Ball winner and Player of the Game. Bonomo recorded 10 kills and four aces, helping WRA maintain control throughout the match.

The Pioneers also received strong defensive performances from McKenna Towsley '28 and Livia Farian '28. Towsley led the team with 12 digs, while Farian contributed seven perfect serve-receive passes to help keep WRA's offense in rhythm.

WRA's balanced attack and steady defense proved to be the difference as the Pioneers completed the sweep and continued their strong start to the season.

The Varsity Volleyball team will return to action Thursday, September 3, at home against Strongsville.
