WRA Varsity Volleyball faced a strong challenge on the road Tuesday, September 8, falling to the undefeated Riverside Beavers, 0-3.

WRA battled throughout the opening set, falling 19-25. Riverside then pulled away in the second set, 6-25, before closing out the match with a 14-25 third-set victory.

Several Pioneers made key contributions throughout the match. McKenna Towsley '28 recorded a strong 2.5 serve-receive score, while Livia Farian '28 led the defensive effort with 10 digs. Carola Davila '28 contributed four aces and 24 assists, and Riley Brainerd '28 added 12 assists.

Despite the loss, WRA gained valuable experience against one of the area's toughest and undefeated teams. The Pioneers will look to bounce back quickly when they return to action Wednesday, September 9, on the road against Garfield Heights.
