The WRA boys prep lacrosse team delivered a statement performance in the MSLA Championship on May 2, defeating top-ranked Culver Academies 10–5 at home.
The game opened evenly, with both teams tied 3–3 after the first quarter. WRA began to create separation in the second, taking a 5–3 lead into halftime. The Pioneers maintained control in the second half, extending the lead to 7–4 after three quarters before pulling away late to secure the 10–5 championship victory.
Cole Narkiewicz '27 anchored the defense with a standout performance in goal, posting a 64% save percentage. At the faceoff X, Gentry Curtis '27 provided a key possession advantage, winning 56% of his draws. Offensively, Hunter Harris '25 and Kellen Bladon '27 each scored four goals to lead the attack.
WRA's efficiency in transition proved critical, as the team cleared the ball at an impressive 86% rate.
With the win, WRA captures the MSLA Championship and caps off its season with a signature victory over the nation's top-ranked team.
