The WRA boys prep lacrosse team earned a strong 16–13 victory on the road against The Hill Academy on April 18.
WRA came out fast, building a 4–1 lead after the first quarter and extending it to 8–5 by halftime. The Pioneers continued to control the pace in the third, pushing the lead to 14–9 before holding off a late push from Hill in the fourth quarter to secure the win.
Gentry Curtis '27 was dominant at the faceoff X, winning an impressive 89% of his draws and giving WRA a consistent possession advantage. Offensively, Devon Satterly '26 led the way with three goals and one assist, while Darcy Muegge '27 added three goals and two assists in a strong all-around performance.
With the win, WRA continues its momentum and will quickly turn its focus to its next matchup on Sunday, April 19, on the road against Culver.
