The WRA boys varsity volleyball team earned a hard-fought 3–1 victory over Walsh Jesuit on April 8 at home.
WRA took control early, winning the first two sets by identical 25–23 scores in tightly contested play. After dropping the third set 16–25, the Walsh Warriors regrouped and closed out the match with another narrow 25–23 win in the fourth.
Ethan Ntatin '29 led the offense with an impressive 15 kills while also contributing 4 blocks and 2 aces. Ryan Bonomo '29 added 6 kills and made a strong impact from the service line with 5 aces.
Defensively, Evan Sun '26 anchored the back row with 17 perfect serve receive passes and led the team in digs. Luke Kolencik '28 directed the offense with 33 assists, keeping WRA's attack balanced and effective throughout the match.
With the win, WRA continues to build momentum and will look to carry it into their next match on Thursday, April 9, on the road against Cuyahoga Falls.
