The WRA boys varsity volleyball team delivered one of its strongest performances of the season on April 22, despite falling 3–1 on the road to St. Vincent-St. Mary.
WRA opened the match with a hard-fought 26–24 win in the first set, showing composure in key moments. The next three sets were tightly contested, but SVSM edged them out 25–23, 25–21, and 25–22 to secure the match.
Luke Kolencik '28 reached an impressive milestone, surpassing 300 assists on the season while continuing to lead the offense. Jayden Kersh '26 made a strong return to the lineup after missing several weeks due to injury, contributing on both sides of the ball with impactful defensive and offensive play.
While the result did not go WRA's way, the team's energy, effort, and overall level of play stood out as a highlight.
WRA will look to carry that momentum into its next match on April 23, on the road against John Marshall.
