The WRA boys volleyball team picked up a strong 3–1 road victory over Cuyahoga Falls on April 9.
WRA edged out a tight opening set, 26–24, before taking control in the second with a decisive 25–14 win. After dropping the third set 21–25, the Pioneers regrouped and closed out the match with a hard-fought 25–23 victory in the fourth.
Evan Sun '26 led the defensive effort with excellent serve receive and numerous digs, anchoring the back row throughout the match. Luke Kolencik '28 directed the offense, leading the team in assists and keeping WRA's attack balanced.
Offensively, Ryan Bonomo '29, Ethan Ntatin '29, and Finn Frato-Sweeney '26 paced the team with strong performances at the net.
With the win, WRA continues to build momentum and will look ahead to its next match on Monday, April 13, on the road against Brecksville.
